Orders

We do not include price information in the shipment as many of our spoons are purchased as gifts. An invoice is provided when you place your order either by email or phone number.

We are glad to send a personalized note with your order. Simply include the details in your order notes at checkout. If you are purchasing multiple spoons, they are wrapped together. Single spoons or utensil sets are wrapped individually. Additional gift wrap options are available upon request.

We have periodic sales. Our site only allows the use of one coupon code per order.

Due to our quick turn around times, we begin processing orders right away. If you have changes to your order, please contact us at hello@customspoon.com with the details of your change. If we have not begun production, we would be glad to make adjustments to the order. If you'd like to cancel the order, we can accommodate if we have not begun production or design work. Once an order has begun processing, we are unable to cancel an order.

Products

We design and engrave the products in our Allen, Texas, studio. Our products are sourced from different vendors in the United States and around the world. We select companies that provide products that meet our high standards for quality products.

Our spoons are both functional and can serve as a decorative element. The design is engraved into the wood. The engraved process burns the design into the wood, so no need to worry about unsafe paints or ink. To keep the spoons looking their best, see our care instructions.

We recommend hand washing the spoons with a mild soap and water and towel dry. The spoons are not dishwasher safe.

Taking care of your wooden utensil will ensure you have it for years to come. We recommend hand washing the spoons with a mild soap and water and towel dry. Do not soak the utensils in water or wash in a dishwasher. We also recommend wiping the spoons with mineral oil monthly to extend the life of the wood.

Shipping

Standard orders of 7 utensils or less will ship in 2-4 business days. Custom orders and orders of 8 spoons or more will require a proof approval and typically ship in 3-8 business days after approval. If we are unable to ship within 8 days after approval, we will contact you as soon as possible to make sure the new time frame meets your needs. We reserve the right to extend production times if we are waiting for proof approval or on orders requiring additional information. Please order early to ensure timely delivery.

Due to the high volume of orders during holiday seasons, we will post shop updates of when certain order dates will ship. During peak seasons, transit times may also be delayed. No refunds will be issued for orders delayed due to adverse weather conditions or shipping delays.

Custom Spoon only guarantees when your item will ship from our shop in Allen, TX. We are only able to provide an estimated delivery date provided by the carrier, as your package is no longer in our hands after it ships.

A tracking number will be provided with every order. The tracking can also be found if you log into your account and view the order status.

We currently only ship within the United States and APO addresses.

We offer free shipping for orders over $35. For orders under $35, shipping is based on a flat rate of either $4 for USPS first class mail or $10 for USPS priority mail.

If a package is returned to Custom Spoon due to an incorrect shipping address provided or any other reason, the customer will be responsible for the cost to redeliver. If the item ordered has free shipping, we can only offer this deal one time per order.

Although we take extra care of every order, there have been unfortunate instances when they arrive damaged by the shipping carrier or stolen. Please contact us right away if this happens at hello@customspoon.com. There are many different circumstances, and we are happy to offer any help if possible. We are not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly, lost or stolen. We can assist you in steps to take if your package was lost or stolen. We do not consider an item lost until over 30 business days in transit.

We are open Monday through Friday from 10 to 5 except on national holidays. If you submit a question outside of our business hours, we will be in touch the next business day to answer your inquiry.

Our office and production studio are located at 403 W Main St, Allen, TX 75013. Customers are welcome to visit our studio by appointment only.
